چکیده
Abstract The application of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies faces many challenges, especially in developing countries. This problem was investigated the existing literature and via a designed questionnaire among local practitioners. reasons were mainly attributed to seclusion EIA process across project’s phases, as well complexity procedures. Hence, research argues that Building Information Modelling (BIM) applications can be key resolve several associated problems either directly, or indirectly by streamlining Management System (EMS). Thus, keyword-based scientometric analysis used define parameters interrelations establish network for proposed BIM-based framework. framework presents scoring schemes support three types assessments: efficiency applying BIM techniques an (Score A), proper integration different steps I) project phases B). Integrated Environmental Modeling — An SDI-based Framework for Integrated Assessment of Agricultural Information
The field of Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) has emerged with the spirit of providing ‘Data as a Service’ to overcome the technical and conceptual barriers in sharing spatial data. In integrated environmental modeling, software components like the GIS, the spatial DBMS, expert rules and analysis tools, and even the associated computational models, are re-used and combined into an environmenta...
متن کاملAn integrated fuzzy AHP-ELECTRE methodology for environmental impact assessment
Environmental impact assessment (EIA) is the assessment of the possible impact that a proposed plan or project may have on the environment, together consisting of the natural, social and economic aspects. The aim of this paper is to propose an environmental impact assessment methodology based on an integrated fuzzy AHP–ELECTRE approach in the context of urban industrial planning. In the propose...
متن کاملIntegrated environmental impact assessment: a Canadian example.
The Canadian federal process for environmental impact assessment (EIA) integrates health, social, and environmental aspects into either a screening, comprehensive study, or a review by a public panel, depending on the expected severity of potential adverse environmental effects. In this example, a Public Review Panel considered a proposed diamond mining project in Canada's northern territories,...
متن کاملAn Integrated Modelling Framework for the Forest-based Bioeconomy
This paper describes the conceptual design of a regional modelling framework to assess scenarios for the forest-based bioeconomy. The framework consists of a core set of tools: a partial equilibrium model for the forest sector, a forestry dynamics model for forest growth and harvest and a wood resources balance sheet. The framework can be expanded to include an energy model, a land use model an...
